Journey to Extraordinary for Physicians
What is the Journey to Extraordinary?
The Journey to Extraordinary is a BayCare-wide initiative designed to take BayCare from the great organization it is today to a truly extraordinary one. The Journey will provide all team members and physicians with greater understanding of our customers’ needs, the challenges BayCare faces in a changing healthcare landscape and the contribution every team member makes to the organization’s success.
What should I expect when attending a Journey session?
Participating in a Journey session is unlike any other workshop or class you may have attended. Specifically, it's interactive…it's thought-provoking…it's emotional…it's noisy…and it's FUN!
The room setup allows team members and physicians to gather at small tables for conversations. Each discussion is led by a Table Facilitator, who guides the table through interactive discussions, visuals and videos. Everyone has an opportunity to share, making his/her voice heard and providing feedback.
When and where will sessions be offered?
Additional nighttime dates have been added to accommodate physicians’ and team members’ schedules. Light dinner and refreshments will be provided to all who participate in a nighttime session. (Daytime sessions do not offer that option.)
All sessions listed below are offered at the BayCare System Office (BSO) from 6-9pm. Additional locations will be added moving forward.

Will I receive credits for attending?
Yes, all physicians and ACPs will receive 2.75 CMEs for completing a Journey session.
